Live Event

Steve Siller was a Brooklyn Firefighter who, upon being called in for duty, was unable to get his truck through The Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel in order to reach the Trade Center on 9/11. He quickly put on his 60 pounds of gear, and without a second thought ran four miles through The Battery Tunnel to get to the towers. There is no greater courage or sacrifice than what he gave that day; a husband, father of five, and brother to six, he chose to give his life to save others.

Laura Marko, Director of Business Development and Operations, will be running in the name of Servicecom & beGoodWILLfollow at the Steven Siller 5k Tunnels to Towers Run on September 27, 2015 in NYC. Born and raised in the NYC area and having attended the Fashion Institute of Technology, the tragedy of 9/11 had a devastating impact on Laura and touched every member of the Servicecom team. Laura will be joined by her daughter Madison who is a cadet at West Point, daughter Alex who is an avid runner and star member of the Donovan Catholic Track Team and other members of our company.

This run is in his honor, and full donations will be made by Servicecom to this cause. Please click on the following link for information about this event: Tunnel2towers.org

December 2015 Christmas Event

All vendor and retail partners are invited to participate in this event with either a matching contribution, or a donation of used or new blankets to provide warmth and protection to those who are displaced due to economic challenges during the upcoming and brutal Northeast winter. Servicecom will be matching $1 per work order donation from Walmart, Restoration Hardware, and Core Power Yoga, and we are asking various other clients and local vendors based in NY & NJ to match our $1 donation as well.

With funds, we will purchase blankets from Walmart Supercenter in Long Island, NY and deliver them to our local outreach shelter that provides resources directly to those in need.

If you think of spending one night out in the cold without the warmth, shelter, or safety that we take for granted, and consider small children and families who are facing this on a daily basis, you should be moved to get involved. Every blanket or donation will be hand delivered directly to someone who needs it.

December 2015 Don’t Forget the Forgotten Ones Event

We encourage any retailers in the pet market to contact us about collaborating for great success during this event! Servicecom will be matching $1 per work order donation from all clients, and we strongly encourage local vendors based in NY & NJ to match our $1 donation in goods or money.

With funds, we will be purchasing bedding, food and supplies to aid local shelters who are flooded with an overload of homeless animals whose owners have been displaced due to challenging economies all over the country. These items will be hand delivered to The NYC ASPCA and to Sammy’s Hope in New Jersey throughout the course of December 2015.

If you have a furry friend or can empathize with the plight of these innocent animals that have lost their families with nowhere to turn, then you cannot turn away from this event.
